WELCOME!!!!!!

Welcome to the Myers Family Website! I am going to update this website as much as possible! The Myers Family has had lots of stuff going on this past year! So here is the run down!!!!!

Dad had some scary medical stuff going on and spent a few nights in the ER. After a few tests and scans they saw a mass on one of his kidneys. Well as most scary stories go it ended up to be CANCER!!! Clear cell carcinoma to be exact! They took his kidney and ALL of the Cancer. Dad is our survivor! Through lots of funny phone calls while Dad was very medicated and many check up calls to Mom, I had great peace of mind with the whole thing! Dad was up beat and Mom never let her fears show thru her voice in our conversations! They are both so strong and brave and I look up to both of them for strength! Mom has supported the family thru this crazy time and seems to enjoy her job at the salon and spa! She has been a great leader to this family and a beautiful example!! She has taken care of Dad and she has done it with a smile on her face and joy in her voice! I have never heard her complain about their situation and/or be upset about what life has brought on her! She has been the light in the darkness for our family!

Amy and Eleanor came to my Mom's side of the Family reunion and we all had a blast! It has been a long time since I have spent time with them and we all had fun! Amy is fun and outgoing as usual and so much fun to be around. Eleanor is so beautiful and intelligent. She amazed me by the way she acts so grown up! Dad and Eleanor pladed cards a lot and we all had some great laughs.

Jamie and Aarica had Derek go out to visit them before Derek went off to Basic for the Army. They are such a beautiful couple and Derek had a great time. I have not had the opportunity to meet Aarica but I hope to soon. I have had the pleasure to speak with Jamie and Aarica on the phone and I love to hear from them!

I had some re-productive medical issues and has been on and off of meds and in and out of surgeries! Now I am doing better and hoping that everything will continue to get better!!! Dutch also had some surgeries...he had double knee surgery and has recovered well!!!! Jillian turned 4 this month and loves to dress up and dance!!! She is such a smart and beautiful young lady! Xander is 2 1/2 and he is sooooo much a BOY!!! He jumps off all of the furniture and runs into all of the walls! He thinks he knows spanish and he thinks he is SPIDERMAN!!! So our house is pretty crazy!

Derek is in COLLEGE!!!! He joined the ARMY and went to Basic training in South Carolina, then Tech school in Virginia. He is now at the Dorms at University of Memphis! He enjoys school and he also works at a nice steak house in the evenings! We are so proud of the grownth that Derek has shown.

Kristy has joined the Airforce and went to Basic Traning in Texas. She graduated and is now it Tech training in Mississippi. She will be transfering to a tech traing center in Texas soon. This new school is only about 3 hours away from where I live in Tulsa. I am so proud of her and I admire her strengtha and drive.

Kylie is a Junior at Collierville High, she is LOVING being the only child at home! She is so smart and beautiful. She is so funny and she is always busy doing crazy things with her friends or MOM!!! She is always involved in stuff at church and she attends Seminary every morning. She loves having her own room (morelike own house) and she has helped take care of Dad thru all of the craziness!

Well that is enough for now but I will add pictures and more news as it happens! Thank you for your interest in our family Blog!!! Have a great day and remember to check us out offten as I try to keep on top of updates and photos!
